Health Care Quality Improvement Program (HCQIP)

NDHCRI holds a contract with the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) to serve as the Quality Improvement Organization (QIO) for North Dakota. One of NDHCRI’s roles as the QIO is to sponsor quality improvement projects with health care professionals throughout the state. The projects, chosen by CMS, are conducted in various settings including, but not limited, to hospitals, clinics, nursing homes, and home health agencies.
