PHYSICIAN QUALITY REPORTING SYSTEM (PQRS)
NDHCRI is providing technical assistance to physician practices to accurately capture the required data elements and extract them for reporting to the Physician Quality Reporting System (PQRS). This qualifies practices to earn additional annual Medicare reimbursement.
Why Join Now?
- To receive incentive payments, reports submitted must be accurate. NDHCRI will help your practice ensure data needed for each report is documented properly.
- Data submitted for each core measure must be at least 80% of the patients in that reportable group. NDHCRI will help your practice monitor data to ensure an 80% benchmark for the numerator is met.
- Avoid penalties (beginning in 2015) for failure to report PQRS measures. NDHCRI will teach your practice how to report PQRS measures now.
Benefits of Participation
- Incentives of 1% for 2011 (if ready to report) and 0.5% for 2012 based on Medicare Part B Physician Fee Schedule charges
- Alignment of goals to achieve incentives through the EHR incentive Program, Meaningful Use, and other available programs
- Prepare your practice for the public reporting of performance on quality measures for “Physician Compare” in 2013
